You're a little late! Like 3 and a half years. Where were you all when the AMFA mechanics were fighting this very same thing?

You had to look no farther back than 2003/2004/2005...and earlier. We put our boots to the ground to fight this.

The silence from the AFL-CIO and "Change to Win" coalition was deafening.

Now the Teamsters are getting on board?

I think I will go puke now.

I looked at the faces of the guys walking the line, seen those looks in 2005. I don't mean to sound curt, but too little too late comes to mind.

As far as the teamsters go, that should had been priority #1 when they won representation at United. I say good luck but.......too little too late!
 
UnionAMT? Are you in this fight? Where have you been for the last 4 years? nwa and Delta are run by the same person now. Dick has run both airlines individually and now he runs them both. Hmmm like he planned it that way. He is an expert in union busting (along with his little puppet Doug Steenland) and it starts with divide and conquer. At nwa he (and Doug) picked the union he knew that no other union would support, the AMFA. Most of us stood proud and resisted but we were sabotaged by some of our own members and more importantly by the other unions. Even though we told them that they were next. And guess what happened??? They defeated the AMFA and then moved on to the weaker unions (IAM, ALPA, whoever reps the flight attendants). Until you get the support from ALL groups for a single, calculated action, you won't succeed.
To all of you followers of these pages I know what you're saying. "Dick was out before the strike at nwa". Yea, yea, I know that. But, the conspiracy theorist in me won't discount that he was on the other end of the red phone in Dougies office calling the shots. Seriously, do you think Doug Steenland is smart enough to come up with this stuff on his own?

Reamsters propaganda action during the card drive at UAL.
Nimrods didn't do didly before and aren't doing didly now.
As most of the posters here have voiced, this BS is quite a few years late.
Some of us old fogies have been singing this song long before it became popular and many of us actually put time and effort into the message.
As for me, I'm out.
You Boyz have to go get some nads from somebody else.
