The FREE ticket for unlimited outsourcing may end soon.

"Matthew Fazakas, president of the Teamsters’ local representing Denver mechanics, condemned any outsourcing. “Why on Earth does Congress allow laws to encourage the foreign outsourcing of good, skilled, middle-class and critically important jobs?â€￾ he said in a statement.

In an interview this year, Teamsters President James Hoffa said he was particularly worried about Delta Air Lines’ merger with Northwest Airlines, noting that “Northwest does an extensive amount of outsourcing overseas.â€￾

The airlines recently completed their merger. But Delta said that rather than sending work overseas, it plans to earn money by expanding its in-house maintenance business, known as Delta TechOps." (Tell that to NW/Delta Payroll/ Central Admin. Dept...Buh BYE!)

Yeah good luck....The Teamsters are not exactly the most stellar union out there. Hoffa was flying around on NWA while I was on strike condemning us instead of supporting us so when the Teamsters came to my house wanting my vote for FedEx I told them to go pound it. Ask the UAL guys how they like the teamsters after they threw out both the iam and amfa. It's all about the dues baby..That is most unions today.

Techops is on target to bring in over $600 million this year.Nice when maintenance can make money instead of just costing money.
When obama starts taxing the heck out of companies to try to support his socialist ways there will be a heck of a lot more outsourcing overseas.

As he SHOULD companies who outsource like Delta (and the rest. It seems to me the money saved by outsourcing goes to help pay for $37 million/ $22 million dollar paychecks) But that seems to be OK for those that prefer bottom wages while supporting executive excess and the politiicans who've created this slavedom.

Bingo, call it the law of unintended consequences.

Ever think U.S. companies outsource work so they can afford to pay the "2ND HIGHEST TAX RATE IN THE WORLD" ?

Look for more jobs in the U.S. to be outsourced or ELIMINATED, after Nobama raises their taxes !

Educate yourself...............Read The Fair Tax book !

You might want to spend some learning time on the excess of piggish US executive greed and it's number one place in the world. Add to that the shrinking pay and high productivity of US company employees.

How you could be worried about President Obama's tax rates while earning the lowest compensation of the majors is beyond me. Moreover, I think you can learn what TAX breaks mean for those companies creating American jobs vs. increased tariffs for those that outsource.

If you can't afford to pay decent wages to produce it here...you'll pay through the nose to sell it here, to the very same people you want to buy it (but want to pay dirt cheap wages).

You don't have a clue about the cycle of economics...especially as it relates to a consumer society (USA), the largest one in the world, the one the whole world depends on for growth.

They turned the largest manufacturing nation in the world (thanks to outsourcing and insourcing illegal aliens, costing tens of millions of American manufacturing jobs over the last 25 years..REAGAN, BUSH, CLINTON-NAFTA, BUSH-the WORST of the lot) into the largest consumer nation with stagnant wages, which means the largest consumer nation is dependent on CREDIT (MONEY THEY DON'T HAVE). How are they gonna pay those credit bills when their pay doesn't even keep up with inflation. Guess you haven't figured out why the FAKE economy has collapsed.

Tax rates are the last thing a working stiff on the bottom tier of corporate American should be concerned about right now. I wonder why McCain and Bush's (un zip and trickle down on the slaves) plan over the last 8 years didn't work. Must have been those greedy rich folks laughing at po folks worrying about their (RICH FOLKS) tax breaks.

Now that's RICH!

Hey NXNW.................after you finish reading the FAIR TAX BOOK.............we'll continue this conversation.............until then consider yourself un-educated on the subject !

Speaking of socialists ways, Didn't the American taxpayer just provide Government Loans to the Banking industry ? [under a Republican adminstration ?] Truth is that BOTH parties are bought and paid for........
