With all this talk about mergers, hopefully Delta upper management will take into account the situation at Northwest and its SCAB mechanics and "one year wonders." Are the Delta mechanics going to tolerate these clowns infultrating their seniority rank and file after what they did to their fellow mechanics at NWA? If you think its over check out www.exnwa.com (comment section), it's pretty ugly.

Yes, the NWA SCABS will be stapled with a NWA/DAL Merger. Delta Mechanics will have nothing to worry about...

NWA scab mechanics suck
US mechanics are real people who have been in the business for a while
DL Tech Ops sounds very very cool to me, and all the services they offer
very interesting operations indeed.

Wish the "real people" in PHL would stop supplying parts to NW, the strike may be over, but the "real mechanics" are not back to work, you keep supplying SCAB Swissport with parts to fix the NW junkers. So much for "real people".

The US employees in PHL do not have a choice in who gets parts, if US Maintenance and/or Stores Management tells them to give them the parts of MCU calls and tells them and sends them the paperwork, they have no right to refuse it, that would be insubordination and grounds for termination.

What ABOUT PAN AM? I Thought they were STAPLED to The BOTTOM. I think Your Wrong. MW

Pan Am AMT's who came over to Delta got full pay and bennie credit from day one. Senority for bidding and layoffs were given in 1/3 increments. After three years they had full time. I.E. if someone had 21 years as an AMT with Pan Am they got 21 year pay and bennies and in there first year had 7 years for bidding, in there second 15 and in there third year 23 years.

Then you think wrong. This has been addressed MANY times. You need to stop listening to the LCC spin doctors; they are trying to rewrite history to justify their own malice.
