Question to my flying partners at SWA, is January a good time to non-rev on your carrier to MCO from MHT or MHT to TUS/PHX (we could land at either airport and be happy)or should I play safe and just buy a ticket? My partner is non-airline person and will not non-rev without me so I usually try to do as much research before dragging him to the aiport.I have vacation the 21-27th of January and Jan is typically not high season but if the scenes from Airline on A&E is to be belived (which I don't doubt), it seems your flights are usually full.

I find the best times to non rev on swa is tuesday, wednesday, and saturday. If you patient you will find space on a flight.

MHT does VERY WELL for WN, and your talking MHT to Florida.

It's not to say It's impossible, but as far as Florida is concerned, I'd have bought "el-cheapo" tickets long ago.

I speak from experience, because I've been uning WN("YES ME") a lot these past 9 months, from MHT/TPA.
(those NON-STOPS make up for the corny F/A's and the pee-nuts")
