I'd like to compliment the crew of 1596 yesterday PHL-BWI.

Normally I'd drive to Maryland but have meetings today in MD and CLT. While LGA-PHL was delayed by a good half hour it arrived within 10 min of sked...but on a 24 minute flight the crew did a water/juice service quickly and efficiently. Oh and 700UW the flight was on your namesake.

Nice job y'all.....

My BEST to you all....

Mainline does a Juice & Water service on the 319 between CLT-MYR. Express, you get a thank you for flying with us today.

Which confirms my consistent belief that the folks in the field are among the best there are. My issue was always with the Sand Castle.

I am sitting on a 737-400 right now kissing my knees in a seat I paid extra for. Only US would charge extra for a regular coach seat. :)
Seems like much less legroom than a 319 though.

flying is not fun anymore, Planes are full, fares are low... If you would like to pay more I'm sure we could increase that pitch.

US's 737-400s have only a 30" seat pitch in coach, AS has a 32" pitch on their 737-400s.

US's A319s have a 31" pitch.

DL on their 319s in regular coach as 30" and 31" seat pitch depending on the plane.

UA on their 319s in regular coach has a 31" seat pitch.

phl bwi flight 1569 i worked it yesterday and it was light compared to the day before when we had 110 bags which is unusual but not bad considering that plane usually averages about 50 bags

Thanks Robbed. I am surprised they do a mainline run so short...25 min in air.

Finally headed home tonight. Flew into CLT this afternoon and now waiting for flight back to LGA. At least I got to see an old friend in The B club.

Time will tell, but I hope it all works out for US folks with this pending merger.

My BEST to you all....

They're retiring at least 16 of the remaining 400s this year and brining on many more 321s. This will be welcome by both passengers and employees alike.

Art we have 2 mainline flights daily to phl and 2 return both of which are terminators though sometimes one of those goes to phx in the evening and returns as red eye out of phx

Do you know what the US 757 coach seat pitch is?

My worst flight as a passenger was in the middle seat of the last row on a US 757 for 4 hours.

As I recall, you're too tall for a seat in the last row of anything LCC flies. Since that row doesn't recline, one would think that a company that cared about its passengers would add an extra few inches to the last row, and the rows in front of the exit rows which also do not recline.

Of course, LCC doesn't really care about comfort for its passengers. I think Parker should be required to fly in the last row of coach everywhere he goes. Then there would be another 12" added to the leg room there.

What is interesting is the fact that when US Airways first started getting the Airbus they advertised the fact that EVERY seat reclined! That sure has changed. Sure will be interesting to see what they do to American's A321 that will have 102 seats in a three class configuration. What does US now have on their A321's? Did they not add another row to an already crowded cabin? Have not had a flight on those yet. Don't worry though, Parker has stated their would be more attention to customer service....
