Has anyone picked up their new handbook.....and read it??
There is definitely some people that have to be "re educated" on how to dress themselves. However, some things are a bit excessive.
For example, if you have a wool allergy the company has special altenatives for you to wear. But you have to have a doctor's note and update it EVERY SIX MONTHS. Same thing if you have to wear special shoes. My question is - is the company going to pay for the expense of those updated doctor's notes?? My doctor charges $25.00 for any paperwork. Also, if someone has bad feet or some allergy, do they ever GROW OUT OF IT?

If your doctor charges you for paperwork then you should find a new doctor.

I have never been charged for paperwork.

Every department is responsible for ensuring that it runs smoothly and everything is as it should be. That being said, if this management team was as stringent in EVERY OTHER area of running the business we'd be better off. Don't put so much emphasis into whether Susie Q. is wearing a scrunchie and worry about more pressing issues. I understand one has nothing to do with the other but it's resources badly spent. MORONS. That being said, people should NOT have to refer to a book to know how to look semi normal.

That's weird you are not charged -- this has become common practice in a lot of office and society and businesses move to paperless systems. Anyway, if the company demands it, talk to the union and get them the company to pay for it!!!
