Daily non-stop service to Torreon, Mexico from Dallas will start 1 August pending government approval. Will be operated by American Eagle RJ and plane will RON in Torreon.

Torreon is located in Northern Mexico, roughly 200 miles west of Monterrey.

Continental Express flies to the city daily from Houston.
 
I stopped in TRC once while on a SAT-TRC-MZT trip on Aerolitoral (the commuter affiliate of Aeromexico).

That 19 seat Fairchild Metro was one dog of an aircraft. You can't complain about a Fokker or even a Saab if you've never flown on a Metro.

Hopefully we'll start flying DFW-MZT. Mazatlan is a great beach destination. It still has some real Mexican flavor to it and isn't over priced like Cabo is.

Yes, indeed. I used to fly on those back in the early 80s.
