New Attendance program

Update: MC and NH will be in PHX on MONDAY to adress attendance policy! GF says at 10am PHX time lets show some solidarity and rally visible for 10 minutes in every station?

If I were to somehow gain an audience with DP, I would ask if he even knows about the so called, new attendance policy.

"Sir, what would this company hope to obtain by throwing this at its Fleet and Customer Service employees. Was it that the exsisting policy wasn't working? If it wasn't why? Were the Managers not able to keep up with it or were they so busy with all the changes thrown at them, that attendance was a low priority on their list of things to do.

OR, was HR not able to make the ultimate descisions if people stay or go for being held accountable in lawsuits? I think the HR department figured it was an easy fix for them.

Here you have a system thrown at you with really no regard to peoples lives and what it takes sometimes to juggle work with family life in order to make it work.

And last but not least, its in violation of our contract ( yes our, yours and ours. US reps signed it and so did ours ).

?? Maybe you don't know about it, do you ?? Ah Ha!..I smell something here..............I guess change doesn't always get approved from the Top.......unless I'm mistaken It should.

Once Again...........How does this improve morale so this company moves forward..........IT DOESN'T"

I think the last thing you want as a company is to have to many different attendance policies. It's better to streamline them through negotiations so sooner or later they resemble each other and not risk some sort of discrimination between each work group. Someone " Over EGO'D on this "
 
Update: Meeting with Company and AGC's brought discrepencies of contract violations to the Company's attention. They agreed that the response by inside and outside Unions were not in agreement and would review the possibility of forgoing this policy. NO PROMISES MADE! They did however agree to expedited arbitration in the event they would continue with this policy. Even if they continue to implement this policy we would be looking at a March arbitration at the earliest. THX GF
 
I am glad to see that the membership GOT IT RIGHT with their choice of leadership.

IF we don't win we the membership of the IAM at least know that our LEADERSHIP is not going to

go down without a fight .. GR8T job for representing its membership

Dis mornin' our Union reps told us dis story how Dougie at da palace acted like he really was concerned about how his flunkies communicated wit da labor groups. Day says dat Dougie told little Al dat all da workers were pissed to pississivity cause little Al liked to defecate on them for giggles. Dougie told little Al that he had to make nice by meetin' wit da reps and workin tings out.

Our Union reps says dat little AL made out like he wanted to do da right ting at the meetin' and said he would consider holdin' off da B.S. POS attendance til da Union and da company worked out differences of opinion in Arbitration. The Union Reps says dat we shouldn't demonstrate how pissed we really are til little Al shows his word aint $h!t.

Well lt me tell you, little Al's word obviously aint $h!t, cause our managers says dat day came off a conference call and everytings on for Monday.

So I says... why wait till Monday when Saturday and Sunday aint part of the new program? Upstairs and downstairs should take advantage of the busiest weekend we got. Hell da mechanics should join in for "little Al weekend".

I'm startin' ta feel all fuzzy inside rememberin da year dem good ol boys in CLT had ta sort about a dozen 757's stuffed to da gills wit PAWOB's. Ya dem were da days.

Dougie better tell little AL dat defecatin' on da peoples dat make tings work all smooth is not a good idea! Specially durin da holidays.

So.... maybe we should all join in on "Operation Kum Ba Yah"

where is the vince H . of the world . doesn't anyone have any b*lls to stand up to this crap

oh if memory serves me correct I do believe that Mr UNION BUSTER A.H was once a TEAMSTER ..

wonder if his CEO knows that at one time he was for the LABOR MOVEMENT .

Massport has issued an advisory here in Boston, that several women have been stalked by a strange man in the employee parking lot.

Under the new US "no fault" attendance policy, being molested in the employee parking lot is no excuse for being late.

So,you should ask your attacker if you can clock in first, and than return to finish the molestation. Notes from your attacker will not be accepted as an excuese for being late.

I do not mean to trivialise the abuse of women. What I'm saying is how inhuman this attendace policy is.
