Naked PAX on US flight causes diversion

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A US Airways passenger who stripped naked on a flight from North Carolina to Los Angeles caused a diversion in more than one way.

The flight had to be diverted to Albuquerque on Tuesday night.

The 50-year-old man was restrained by two off-duty law enforcement officers, who happened to be onboard.

Maybe he just was hot, and wanted to cool off...do you think his body stuck to those leather seats..and do you think they were sanitized when they landed or will Lillte Johnny set his cheerios on that seat and eat them on the next revenue flight?

Actually this could be a revenue enhancement strategy. Offer a clothing optional section and charge a premium for it. The only problem is most people who would select clothing optional should probably leave their clothes on.

Agreed. I sat next to a really crazy woman last year on LAX-CLT, in F. She was so loud, disruptive and verbally abusive that I thought we were going to have to make an emergency landing to get her off the flight. The FA stopped serving her alcohol after 2 drinks, and apologized profusely that I had to sit next to her. Security met our flight in CLT, and carted her off before they let anybody else off the plane.

Thank goodness LA has some normal people like me, to offset the wackjobs.

Gosh, I hope that guy's seat gets scrubbed. Ick.
