Analysts speculating on next airlines takeover targets, NY Times reports
JetBlue (JBLU) could look to buy US Airways (LCC) or merge with American Airlines (AMR), according to analysts cited by the New York Times. Alternatively, JetBlue could seek to acquire Frontier Airlines, industry insiders speculated. Meanwhile, Alaska Airlines (ALK) could be bought by American Airlines or Delta Air Lines (DAL), said Maxim Group analyst Ray Neidl. Reference Link :theflyonthewall.com

Only one that makes sense is Delta buying Alaska, and even that one isn't a given.

Being that this thread is simply rumor and speculation, and has nothing to do directly with US, we are renaming and moving it.

To the OP, please read the rules of the board regarding RUMORS.

Thank you.

Follow the AA business model:
"We'll grow from within" - Bob Crandall 1985 just befor buying AirCal

2001 - AA buys TWA
2003 - AA employees gouged by management
2005 - AMR profits soar, AMR officers pocket entire profit.

And where's O'Bummer? HA! His administration is owned by Wall St.
