Yep...most blue collar republicans can honestly say that the republicans have cut their taxes. You usually pay less in taxes when your gross pay goes down - as it has for most blue collar jobs over the past 8 years. Yet...the still vote republican. How many good paying jobs have to disappear before they come to their senses?

First...its more than eight years.....how many jobs were chased out of the US due to your green friends and their strict environmental laws?
How many jobs were lost to high corporate taxation?
How many jobs were lost to unions unwilling to bend in the face of global competiton?
Who in the US is investing in overseas workforces and why are they doing it?
Why can't we make it here competitively anymore?

Any party in control can say they are going to cut taxes....but in the end...they raise them somewhere else thats under the radar....you know,those little internet usage fees,cell phone portabilty,911 fees....they're all under the radar tax increases.

Lower a tax one place...raise it when nobody is looking.....

We have fared ok down here in the country of oil wealth. I haven't seen much of it, but the housing industry is not suffering down here as much as anywhere else due to that.

more jobs were "chased" out due to ultra low wages elsewhere. No amount of union bending over would stop that ( I know, I didn't bend over and still got it rammed home)...and those jobs leaving had nothing to do with environmental regulation. Remember, we have been under the watchful eye of oilmen for 8 years.

You haven't read the Obama tax plan then. You can read about it at the Tax Policy Center...where they break it down in detail. Yep...he'd let them expire on folks making over $250,000 per year. People making under $112,000 per year would see their taxes decline further.
