Hello! I'm looking to enter training to get my private pilot's license. Before I go into this endeavor financially - I'm looking for answers about the FAA Medical Exam. I can't seem to find many answers online.
I was born with no fingers on one hand (left). I was wondering what restrictions, if any, could be imposed on my license? Would I be given a chance to prove my abilities? I, personally, am not concerned as I've always been able to perform any task (I play piano, video games, drive a stick shift.) I've flown before with a co-pilot and didn't have any trouble whatsoever. However, we all know how bureaucracies can be about looking at individual cases.
Thoughts?
Thank you in advance.
