MCI is Open for Business

Next stop for our wide bodies to be overhauled. Outsourced but the union will say hey at least its in the country being done by American (country not company) workers.
Watch out Tulsa the writing is on the wall.

I never say never....But with respect to outsourcing of line maintenance with excess of 6500 flights a day, all you need to do is look at all the low cost carriers and the rest who went through bankruptcy. If anything they outsourced more OH and support shops than they did the line. And the Jetblues and Virgins of the industry along with the UPS and Fedex's, they have only line maintenance.

You can bet your butt if they can outsource maint at the smaller line stations they will.

..They already outsourced most of the smaller station jobs in other classifications.

Now that would be ironic!-----  If American would outsource to the same hanger, and for most part, have a lot of the the same people who were former TWU dues paying members, working on the same Aircraft, working for a non Union MRO, for a lot less, in the same facility they had before!   --------Now, what could be wrong with this picture people?

The pay is $28+ and from my count about 20 to 30 former MCI TWU AA amt + 5 from DWH headed that way. Also the former AMTs found an AA skin with American on it that we signed. LOL It is being hung up, I guess so they won't forget who Sr-- them.

These guys get something that is priceless too Bubba.  FREEDOM.  They no longer have to deal with AA or the TWU or any of the other crap they had to live with for long before 2001.  They can now move on and hopefully this company treats them right.  Lord knows they have earned it.
