Lockheed pulls out of light-utility copter race (Star-Gazette)

Lockheed Martin Systems Integration of Owego has dropped out of the competition for the Army's light- utility helicopter. Earlier this year it announced that it would team with MD Helicopters of Arizona on the $1.3 billion bid, but later decided to exit the competition for unknown reasons.
