Does anyone know if all employees USAir and AWA are invited at the hangar in PHX... Some of us cant make it to Philly but could be in PHX and would like to come. Just wondering if we will all be able to go to the hangar and see it!!

Thanks

Every communication I have seen definatly invites all HP and US employees. I;m not sure about access though. In in PHX it is supposed to park at the hangar. You could call corporate communications and find out how to get there or see if they have even thought of a way for US employees to get the the hanger. The main switchboard line in PHX is 480-693-0800, just ask for corporate communcations

A good friend of mine works for US in PHX and said that you MUST be a US or HP (or affiliate) employee to come... mostly due to security i think. I was going to CLT but after talkin with some friends in PHX I'm heading out there.... the US flights back to PHL/CLT on the morning of the 24th look like a near suicide non-rev attempt.. I swear I saw one flight with 25 NRSA's listed!!!

Looks like I'm goin back on United or Delta... a VERY long trek back to home in EYW!

Use your HP company ID to go through security at Terminal 4 in PHX. Go to gate A6. Buses will start running at 5:45PM from Gate A6 to the hangar. Festivities begin at 6:30PM.

I do not like the new color scheme. Reminds me of LeisureAir. I think that there was so much more potential. I guess over time I will get used to it, but I will not like it. Just my thoughts..........

Call it Extreme Makeover: the Red, White and Blue version.

Employees of America West and US Airways today will get an up-close look at the patriotic new look the airlines will adopt after their upcoming merger.

The paint scheme change will be most dramatic for America West employees, as the new look is similar to US Airways' current look, but with the color scheme reversed. advertisement
