Hello US AIRWAYS folks....I am a former furloughee now working somewhere else. I am out on MIL right now and am going to be trying to get home from PHL to SEA on Friday March 16th. I am cass and have my id and tickets. My question is ...can I pre-list for the flight/jumpseat or do I have to go get in line and get an agent to do it. I am currently Outside CONUS and will not be back until Friday afternoon. Also, how does it work if I check a bag? Please feel free to e-mail me at gcsass@msn.com if you don't want to put anything up on here. Best wishes to all of you and thanks in advance for the info!

On the East side it's been the same...
-Check In at the ATO...Deal w/ Baggage...do the standby tag for Bag in case you don't make it on
-Arrive at the Gate fill out the paperwork for Jumpseat and hope no one senior to you takes it 😉
- No Prelisting of any kind...everything has to be done at the Gate.

Have fun!

Sounds EASY enough!! Thanks for the reply!! If it doesn't work out I can always go on-line thru MEM, but I'm trying to avoid the 2 leg overnight commute!! Thanks again for your help!!

If you still have access to the hub, I'd check flight loads between PHL/SEA Nonstop or via PHX/LAS.

I don't have access anymore, they got to my recall date last August and I resigned...but looking at the seat chart at US Airways.com it looks as if there are about 23 seats available...are those things accurate?

I see as usual your avoiding work at all possibilities....hahaha...how's the new gig going???

Did you resign or take the company separation package? just curious.

and the website' seatmap is NOT accurate with the PBTs off the Hub as well.

I love it over here, I miss you guys..and PSA was fun (if you didn't work there too much)! I see a few PSA folks here and a lot of AAA folks. It is nice to be at a place where they are trying to avoid furlough instead of trying to use furlough as a negotiating tactic! What are all you guys flying now, and where is everyone based? I called MH a few times, but we have lost touch...for now, I still talk to AC some. Fly safe and good luck with all that is going on over there.
