...and it appears this will be year round service. in prior discussions, it was metioned this would be a seasonal service. let's hope it is a success!

One quick squint and a flashback and this looks alot like TWA flight 768 / 769..... too bad this flight isn't an L10 and won't continue on to Berlin ..... ahhh , the memories!!

Glad to see BRU on the route map though! Nice to see expansion in Europe for once!

Sure could use a trip to the Godiva store and a fresh waffle.. not to mention the duty free, its been way too long... ah well, it will have to wait a while.....

JFK-BRU was flown in the early 90's by AA, as was JFK-ZRH. As soon as Sabena, and Swiss began codesharing with AA, they were dropped. This is great news.

N905TW has a good memory, it was 768 and 769 and on to TXL (Berlin). The latter was a great layover too.

I had the pleasure of deadheading to CDG on TWA and then to BRU on Sabena to be in position to fly the inaugural out of BRU to AMS and JFK back in '84. You're right about the food - Belgians told me they taught the French how to cook!

I also enjoyed JFK-BRU-TXL for the great German food in Berlin, but missed the BRU and AMS layovers. I believe 768 also went BRU-SVO (Moscow) for a brief period, although I missed seeing Mother Russia.
