JCBA Negotiations and updates for AA Fleet

We need a contract NOW but not with compromise that doesn't give us a great return. Health care is a deal breaker. Sure, if they give us a $5 per hour increase in wages to give us AA health care then sure our peeps will vote for it. But according to our negotiators, the comprehensive was not worth the paper it was written on. Until then, we have to fight for a very good cost positive JCBA.
Deal breaker for who? You guys don't have the majority.

Actually looking just at the math for the MAX difference Rez posted between 2 costs it was $2.00 per hour or $4000.00 MAX (Out of pocket) Not $5.00 per hour. How many people by percentage hit that max per year BTW?

Didn't we all just get a $6.00 per hour increase in October and haven't we all received about a $10.00 per hour increase since this merger began? Does that or should that factor in at all to any sort of meaningful conversation here?
Why would anyone consider the previous negotiations? We already gave up plenty to get the pay increases, plus parker was forced to give that to us anyways due to issues with the pilots stews and delta. These arent normal times.

Do we give up our pension increase as well and renegotiate that cost for parker?
Sometimes you dont make any sense weas.

Sorry Tim. I'm willing to join that fight with ya for some kick butt Medical. But if you think I'm hitting the beaches of Anzio for 8 years so you can cheaply get that hairy mole removed from your ass cheek, you've officially replaced the bird on that Fruit Loops box.

I've maintained from the beginning that in fairness to all, our Medical expenses should be between what you currently pay and what we currently pay (14% of the Total cost)

And PT should pay the same as FT too BTW.

Well, Tim, to be fair, the initial positions released by the Association did call for the adopting of the IAM Pension language (as well as the TWU 401K language) and the IAM medical language.

Didn't say what you should do about your Pension Tim. Just said your 8 year plan sounds more like the Humans to Mars mission rather than something that makes sense to me for that Medical issue.

8 (EIGHT) years Tim?

It's okay vent your anger at me but you've been in the industry almost as long as me how many times have you heard they are far apart one day and the next day they have an 11th hour agreement. Again you don't have much to gain anyway surely not enough to have a bunch of you passing out on the 26th
Thanks for letting me vent Al, for the moment, I do feel better...🙂

Could it be that the teamsters are trying to reflect the UPS language rules in the United contract? teamsters trying to mirror another teamsters contract? Except for the pay I might add.

Do you really think the guys at LUS would go for that? Wouldn't that bring in a cost to the LUS guys for the AA medical? So basically the $5 dollar raise would be null and void along with other language rules that will change. I would think you guys would want to keep the LUS medical and get the AA'ers up to the LUS medical in order to increase the AA'ers medical benefits.

Tim, I understand that the unions NC doesn't want the numbers published, however, could you or someone give an idea of how far off they are from say industry leading numbers to give the membership a small idea of where or how far apart they are? Is that too much to ask for as long as the actual numbers are not released? I mean at AMFA we get all the numbers that are in writing and passed across the table, why doesn't the asso. do the same? It stops all rumors and misinformation and keeps the membership fully aware of where the two sides are, which in my opinion would get a better response for the picketing IMO.
First off, industry leading doesnt mean as much nowadays. These unions are hurting for members so instead of negotiating for family jobs, they are eliminating part time restrictions. The teamsters started it and brought their numbers back up with ups. 80% of teamsters are pt.
Then change to win focused on organizing more members by voluntary deals and scab wage earners. Seiu got hundreds of thousands like this with forced dues and pt work.
The iam has initiated this within the aflcio at united and now at mcgee. So we have to be guarded.
Most of our members dont care unless it affects them. The new pension cuts will be planted up their arse and they will lose their health care at the end of the day, not because we need to, but because our union leaders all end up rolling with sito. Sito is a company slut so our members are going to be asked to kneel on any next jcba.
If there was a nrtw law, i doubt 10% of dl141 would keep paying dues for nothing.

Yea but you said you talk to Sito on the phone all the time. Why do you converse so often with this Evil, horrible wretch?

I dont talk to sito all the time. A few years ago.
I communicated with him last week only because he has authority and is in position. You communicated with parker, why? Id guess because you wanted him to hear what you had to say.

That said, i dont hate sito i just realize he is pimping this union.

You told me that you talk to Sito all the time. And you have friends in Jerry Glasses office because you threw up a FH internal E Mail one time.

You're a Double Agent.
