WeAA,
Tim is in DL 141 (Elk Grove), Sito was TWA which was DL 142 (Kansas City) and most of his recent IAM career has been with the Grand Lodge/International.

Josh

I meant I don't know him personally. I have read his bio. A friend of mine does know him though and gets along well with him. (That's not Tim/Josh)

But IF Sito did not tell the IAM Negotiators about the TWU picket and he did know about it, it sounds like it could be issues needing to be addressed within the IAM 141 and 142??????

WeAA there aren't many LLCers at MIA are there? Pretty sure it's a 4/10/01 station but many of them may trump you for vacation bidding.

The whole IAM structure is silly. Why have a third district tier? Is it just to have another layer of appointed $100k "leadership"?

Josh

BTW I'm LAA TWU and compared to LUS, UAL and SWA Ramp I haven't gotten mine yet. I'm flying around in a holding pattern waiting to land.

TWU Maintenance, Ramp and others will make their voices heard in DFW this Wednesday.

Again with or without Official IAM (Association partner) support.

Yes. Most former TWA people bid vacation before me. Again though IGM. I can hold all weeks I'm interested in anyway.

Do you have a point here Sir?

I guess the iam is in bed with parker

I am not saying that, but, it does seem odd that one side is not supporting the other half, it actually is very sad and UNprofessional.

what alternative? Seems like we are stuck with the Association, so we have to be hopeful solidarity will finally come between the two unions.

And I hope it does Tim. YOU guys as a membership do have a choice, if it's not industry leading when it comes time to vote then vote it down until it is industry leading.

Robbed he had many postings saying NW "played AMFA like a fiddle" and took joy declaring that PFAA and ALPA didn't honor their picket lines, and that NWs operations carried on unscathed. Never mind that months later the "wolf" of NWA went after his IAM DL 143 where NW prevailed getting concessions and farming out NW work to ZW and other third parties.

For years he has called AMTs elitists and doesn't respect their craft, skill, credentials, etc.

Josh

So many people forget about that part. Correct. It wasn't long there after when NWA did win all the concessions from the IAM. The difference in the 2 was that the IAM fully caved to the concessions ask where as at AMFA put up a fight.

You could feel how bad the proposal was. In my opinion, that was a pretty powerful and telling video on just how rotten this management team is going to be. The culture at this airline has not changed...Yes Gary, please release AA's proposal so we can all get the anger you showed inside of us...
Agreed, that this video gave a good idea of jusy how poorly the employees are regarded. It may be negotiation strategy by the company, but when you hear words like disgusting and concessions then your eyes get opened up. It's disrespectful to put proposals like that to work groups that have already been through the meat grinder for many years. The town hall stuff is like a joke when you hear what they say and then see they throw crap like this proposal at you.I know it's negotiations but listening to Gary describe it was disheartening after all this time.

Yes we do looked at what the American AMT and you guys Fleet, same frustrations, same company says this AMFA says this, more updates, just the same stuff, I wish you guys at American luck, I will go back to SWA board wait for the attacks from Hackman, and the others, funny thing is never see Hackman on the American AMT board , must go by another name, good luck both groups !
I enjoy reading posts from everyone. Different opinions makes for great debate. Stay put bro

Thx. I honestly did forget. Its been quite a while. Did those talks last like 7 or more yrs b4 they lost out

This statement is inaccurate.

So much for that whole "Leap of Faith" thing...

Management at the "New" American viewing labor with the same contempt and disdain management did at the "Old" American? I'm shocked.
