Many have viewed my Posts regarding my serious concerns about my Medical Insurance coverage as a Retiree. I have tried every avenue of contact that I can think of, to actually speak to a USAIRways employee. EVERY dept. is "outsourced" .. absolutely no knowledgable people that can honestly tell you where you "stand" with the Co., to talk to!

If anyone can provide a # to HR or the "real" Benefits Dept., I would be very apprciative!

Thank You for that! I had the new Benefits #, and they told me they are not USAIRways employees. They could not be of any help.

I appreciate your responce!

If you are an East employee don't contact Tempe. As far as they can tell you never worked there.

I was afraid of that! Seems to be the case everywhere! Thanks for the tip ....

Do You Have The Right Number?

If you’re an east employee who’s been calling an 800-number for 2007 health benefits information, enrollment or changes you may be dialing the wrong number. The correct number to call for 2007 benefits information and help is Benefits US at 888-860-6178. That’s 888-860-6178. This will link you directly to the Benefits US call line. This new number is on Compass and theHub and in the benefits enrollment materials that were sent to employee homes during annual enrollment, so be sure to update your speed dial and address books to reflect the right number.

Maybe this is the info you need? At least it is another number to check out. GL

Thank You very much for your input NoName! Yes , I have called that # several times. They clearly advise, after reviewing your request, that they are an outsourced Company that only handles Enrollment in the Medical Programs for USAIRways! They are very polite and apologetic for not being able to assist in any other inquiries.

Calling them "BenefitsUs" or thinking "eBenefitsUs.com" is connecting to USAIRways HR is clearly deceptive.

Thanks, tho!

Can you be a little more specific about what info you're looking for?

After signing up for COBRA last month (BCBS thru Ceridian), I didn't receive a bill for Jan coverage. It turns out that Ceridian doesn't handle COBRA with the change to UHC, and the company people just said "Don't worry, we're behind but you'll get something eventually" (which wasn't very reassuring). Eventually I stumbled on UHC Direct Bill, who got it straightened out in 2 days.

BINGO!

Wow! You did it for me! I cannot Thank You enough! Chris Carter responded to a message I left and connected me with a very, very nice person who responded to my concerns and promised to make all efforts to find the answer to my questions. The uncertainty is there, as I retired back in '95 and so many Bankruptcys ago! But now I have a start, thanks to YOU!!
