How will US respond to expansion at Delta?

Ive noticed Delta is adding flights not just at DCA, but places such as Austin to Cancun and lots of international from various cities including Heathrow to Boston and Miami. Is US in a positon to expand. It feels like, at least at mainline, we are just stagnant. Anyone have an opinion on how we might respond to all of Deltas new growth??

IIRC, the next mainline aircraft deliveries aren't till the 2nd half of 2011. Having given up earlier delivery positions, I'm pretty sure that it would be hard to get anything sooner.
