Hi everyone, I'm new here, and in my internet roamings I discovered this particular forum.
Being the curious creature I am, I have decided to ask a question, in hopes of learning something:
Being recently licensed as an A&P mechanic, and having about five and a half years experience on Army helicopters as a turbine mechanic (with experience in other areas of the aircraft as well), I've noticed that I have had absolutely no luck getting even a call back, much less an interview for a job as a mechanic. Is there something special I need to do or know, or is the field that rough right now, or are mechanics that abundant?
Needless to say, its starting to get a bit discouraging out there!
So, yeah, any advice would be extremely helpful!
