GSO
After checking the new schedule which goes into effect in September, it appears GSO is losing the mainline service just in time for furniture market. I not really surprised but it is big news considering like many other station we once had 12 mainliners a day to just to ATL with 757's coming in for furniture market.

I guess this really is the new Delta.

They're simply attempting to match the right-sized aircraft with the demand. Could we fly 757/MD88's a dozen times a day or so and maintain the allure of "mainline" service? sure...but it would make the route that much more unprofitable, which helps no one.

and their goes the last of the legacy mainline......i can remember a time when DL 9x mainline to atlanta 1x mainline to Cvg
Us-4xmainline to clt, 2x mainline to Phl
Ua 3x mainline to Ord
AA 1x mainline to dfw
Nw 3x mainline to dtw
all in one day.
