Greece: 200 illegal immigrants rescued from stranded boat (Pravda)

Navy vessels and helicopters were needed to rescue more that 200 illegal immigrant s from a stranded boat near Athens Thursday, authorities said. The immigrants were taken to a hospital at the port of Lavrion, 55 kilometers (35 miles) southeast of Athens, to be examined by doctors, the Merchant Marine Ministry said.
