Sounds like fun but I promised my kid our next holiday would be to Disney World.

Did you guys do an article on a S61 operator in Hawaii? I recall reading an article but can't remember where. I just subscribed to your mag as well at your website....nice site!

This was originally posted on another thread and I beleive it has some applicablity to this thread.

HAI is an amazing rendyvous for manufacture (s) and operators, but does little to provide actual training seminars to the people that maintain and fly the machines or actual comprehensive networking other than booze to these individuals.

KEEP EM PISSED AND STUPID.

HEPAC in conjunction with Heli-OPs, fully support the forth coming seminars on the Great Barrier Reef which is focused on the maintainers and flyguys with a an invite to the owners, to maybe understand what their employees put up with.

Manfacture(ers) have been invited but will be giving seminars only.

SO GET OFF YOUR AR**E (Irish) AND DO SOMETHING FOR YOURSELVES AND THE INDUSTRY AS A WHOLE AND MAYBE JUST MAYBE WITH SOME NETWORKING WE CAN GET OUT OF THE WHOLE WE ARE IN.

I notice quite a few people have opinions and good suggestions. Stating them on this forum only ends up as an opinion.

Possibly, if you belonged to a committe, on an association, you just might be able to do something about your opinion, with a viable association behind you, avec balls.

Hoping someday the message gets through.

I have a PRAYER.

Cheers, Don

PS: Further to that you might check out the Helo Conference on the Great Barrier Reef. HEPAC is in the process of negoitiating a reduction in the registration fee for HEPAC members as we are a new association on the block.

Owners/Operators that do not already know everything are welcome to attend, especially the "beancounters" they might just learn what goes on in a company. This is not said lightley as they are the biggest draw back to the industry through the mis-inderstanding of the actual operational and maintenance standards of most companies and are highly in need of human factors training.

I guess most people do not read or just do not have an opinion on anything that might make them think.

I call it BRAINWASHED.

An idea was put forward to enchance the industry and you don't even have the gonnads (male) to respond in kind.

If you wan't to have a say in the industry that employs you, try and respond to some of the questions that are asked of you.

It's called taking part.

When was the last time you got something for nothing.

STATE YOUR GD OPINION.

Have you ever thought that maybe somebody is trying to make the world a better place. Pretty Good, eh.

Cheers, Don

PS: Get with it "person".

Amazing, still no answer from this so-called intilectual forum.

Wamp yourself on the side of your head and wake ones self up.

State your honest opinion.

Cheers, Don

PS: I forgot they know everything, my mistake.

Don;

Maybe there is no one here whom you are referring to, probably no beancounters as they think anything other than counting beans is a waste of time. I am a owner operator of a small company, and will not be going to the conference referred to unless win the lottery, am smart enough to know the small numer of beans in my jar. The rain makes the jar really clean and easy to see through. Keep diggin though.

this so-called intilectual forum.

I'm no Intilect, but I do know how to spell intellect, and even know how to look it up in a dictionary (on-line or otherwise)

in·tel·lect ( P ) Pronunciation Key (ntl-kt)
n.

The ability to learn and reason; the capacity for knowledge and understanding.
The ability to think abstractly or profoundly. See Synonyms at mind.
A person of great ability.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[Middle English, from Old French intellecte, from Latin intellctus, perception, from past participle of intellegere, to perceive. See intelligent.]

______________________________________________________

It's a shame, but I don't have the money to attend the conference, .. after the month in NZ and the Cook Islands last year, then the trip to Hawaii and Las Vegas this winter. That's a fair amount of travel dollars used up in the past 12 months.

Come on all you Intilect Pilots, answer the good man :D

Don - If they arent interested then theres no point in trying to get anyone to put their two cents worth. Thanks for the efforts.

407Driver; Intellectual (in-ta-lek'choo-al) I got kicked out of kindergarten for being to sexually aggresive, that's the spelling problem.

1. requiring or using intelligence.

2. a person with intellectual interests.

3. intelligence, the ability to understand from experience, the ability to respond to a new situation, the gathering of news, information, etc.

Skullcap: As your own bean counter, you really have a problem.

All kidding aside, I still think we have a good case for tax`relief, as it is an education format.

Talk it up guys and maybe we'll get somewhere.

Cheers Don

Don & All,

I know some of your have said you are interested, some of you have said you arent, thats fine, your decisions, you have to make them taking into account a lot of factors.

All I can say from an organisers standpoint is we are planning on making it a great event. If you can attend thats great, if you cant then we understand.

Regards

Heli Ops
