What prompts an individual to post their feelings and thoughts on a wall? Just yesterday, while riding the crew elevator in Pittsburgh, I noticed writing on the wall (large writing) of the elevator. When the doors of the elevator are open on the concourse level, it is easily viewed by the public. This is not the only place I have spotted garbage on the walls. If anyone is familiar with the "f" concourse in Philly, there is a hallway where folks like to sneak off to get a quick nicotine fix. Here is where one would find the most intelligent writings from some of the most intelligent people ever. I know that people are angry with everything that has been going on, but this is ridiculous.

Anyone know if the USAIRWAYS sign over the MX Hanger in PIT intentianally said USAIR last night? the W-A-Y-S lights were out.

I remember them. There are some you have to chuckle at ("Don't forget to wipe your Dave" on a bathroom door), but how immature does one have to be to write on a wall? I have heard about the F Terminal crew room wall, apparently the people who work for Mesa and Chautauqua are in junior high. You really wouldn't think a professional air crew member would draw pictures of burning airplanes and share what F/A is "a fat pig" and which Captain allegedly enjoys certain sexual positions. Sheer class. Tellingly, there supposedly is no graffiti about MidAtlantic. Different breed I guess.

I am very sad for the future of American commercial aviation.

I saw that too last weekend. It was a little too coincidental that each of the WAYS letter lights went dead at the same time to leave USAIR. Very interesting!

LOL...yes I noticed that as well on Sat night. I was working the LGW flight and as I was walking to my jumpseat one our passengers pointed it out to me the USAir. He said "man, those were the days!" I got a good chuckle out of that.

USAir is where all of these problems started. It hardly helps to call them the days. How about when we were Allegheny, Piedmont or PSA, those were the days.........
