It’s pretty hard to find anyone in aviation who actually supports the ADIZ becoming permanent but the FAA isn’t interested in whether we like it. The agency is looking for insight into what pilots think will be the actual impact of making the ADIZ permanent by assessing the effects of the “temporary†zone. Specifically, the FAA wants to know if people are flying less because of the ADIZ and how much it’s cost them. Panelists will be looking for documentary evidence to back up the claims.
