In a perfect world, total credit or total culpability would be placed where it rightly belongs–-At the neatly polished, wing-tipped foot, of the Airline Executive.
Airline Executives, ...engaged in battle with other Airline Executives over their right of Stewardship.
The vanquished Executive, ...exiled with little to show in the way of Benefits, Bonuses and Parachutes.
Those Executives who are victorious in battle; Those who have the talent to use resources more effectively ---conquer the right of stewardship for all the assets of the vanquished.
The Airline Employees?, ...(S)He merely carry on with their day-to-day routines of servicing the Nation’s requisites of Air-Travel.
The very day after a particular Chief Executive becomes, cast out, in a collapse of leadership, ...The Airline Employee returns to work, as they always have, with no discontinuity of service for the traveling public. They simply become more effective workers under those conquering, business principles of flourishing Corporate Leaders. --Work a little smarter. --A little more productive. --For a more successful Airline. –Under the steady hand of an avant-garde, Airline Executive Team.
Competition, in such a world would be a wonderful thing to witness. Where the only victim of failure, is the vanquished Executive who has proven incapable of guiding a Corporation to success and prosperity.
