The Airline Industry. --An Industry providing a certain opportunity of Stewardship for Executives and Managers to test their directorial skills in a realm of Regional, National and/or International Commercial Aviation markets. These Markets are theirs to keep and theirs to grow if they have the talent. Some Executives and Managers have lost their right of Stewardship, consequenced by a lack of talent or ability to feel the pulse of the industry, as it pertains to anticipating evolving industry dynamics.
Certainly it’s not all bad news however. These Executives and Managers generally fare pretty well during their tenure as Stewards in the lucrative Business of Airline Management.
Perhaps there’s some hurt pride for running an enterprise into the ground, but there’s always the satisfying reward of financial security as they move into exile from their failed stewardship. --Taking along with them, their perks and parachutes.
