DP recently said, in essence, that he had bigger fish to fry than to fool around with his wholly-owned regionals --- offering no respite to the relentless climate of uncertainty at Real AE. At the same time, the new regime, leaving 60 un-assigned 175's in it's back pocket, has just asked AE pilots for further concessions , including an option to turn Real AE into--- in management's own words--- "Comair II". Is this thinking part of the regional "attrition" you write about? Billions have been spent on regional airport infrastructure to accommodate and attract industry. Do these places go to weeds in order to meet the new found exigencies of three mega-carriers?
