This can't be true. Princess and BOB say that F9 is going out of business because SWA plans to serve DEN from three of their hubs with 13 flights per day. How could any airline survive that lands at the same airport that is served by SWA? The profitable airline thing, it has to be a fluke.l

Well, my rocket science project has shown that when an airline has only one hub, all it takes is one missle(SWA) to take them down. Frontier is an easy target for SWA just like the old Frontier was an easy target for United and Continental back in the eighties.

From the linked Yahoo news release:
"The airline's fleet in service on September 30, 2005 consisted of 16 owned Airbus A319 and A318 aircraft and 33 leased Airbus A319 and A318 aircraft."
Smart move of Frontier to get rid of the 737's! Now SWA has no reason to think about buying Frontier since the fleets are too diversified! Guess we'll just have to battle it out now ... in a friendly sorta way, of course! 😀
