Flt 781 22 Dec Delay

Just curious, anyone know the reason for the lengthy delay for Flt 781, FRA-PIT on Monday, 22 DEC? It was an A330 that was due out at 11:55 A.M. but was still at the gate and boarding pax for an 6:00 P.M. departure. Any clues?

Just happened to notice this as we were boarding UA 977, FRA-IAD for our scheduled 5:00 P.M. departure.

Yes. The reason was the acft was delayed out of PHL the prior day with a MTC problem. It did not arrive into FRA until 446pm the day of departure. I hope this answers your question. :blink:
