Well FAs had untill the 14th to submit their extension of their vol furlough #1 if they wanted to and we still havnt heard how many actually have. Same with the second vol seperation with I think many people jumped on. Does anyone have any insight on to how many people were talking about here?

I did it, it has broken my heart. I am not sure I will ever be the same again. I just know that since last November when the LTO kicked in, I am far worse off, financially, emotionally and mentally. I had nothing left to lose.

Best of luck to all. All I know is at my senoirity....it would have held jack ####.

Honey, i hear you! This LTO for FAs has got to go. I worry each and every day about money.I was always on 105 or 6 trip option in PHW. Things are just hurting now. So sad. I wish you the best KT.

Question:

Just how many are scheduled to come back in DEC??? We should know by now!!!

I am scheduled back in DEC....heard a rumor that ALL VF's could be terminated or furloughed for some time because of BK and that the company has requested such action........any truth to it???

Pitbull help!

There is an unconfirmed report that the company may seek to set aside the AFA voluntary leave program and any F/A on voluntary leave or furlough could be placed on permanent furlough with the company's next proposal or through the S.1113 process.

Respectfully,

No truth to that. There maybe a situation with the pilots and the company getting rid of the 737. F/As are not a/c specific.

A320,

That would be considered a 'termination" or forced separation. There is no such proposal by the company discussed nor given in a co. proposal.

If you think the co. will go there........ again, we will wrap this company up with civil laws suits for age and disability EEOC discrimination suits.

Thank you PITbull!!!

Why I continue to listen/read his posts are beyond me. Lesson learned once again......

Thank you!!! B)

PitBull & Acrazy8:

The company is considering terminating the voluntary leave program through the S.1113 process and placing those already on a leave on permanent furlough. This could be done through the bankruptcy court, with no AFA legal recourse, without a consensual agreement.

Don’t shoot the messenger. It’s the union that did not obtain an agreement prior to bankruptcy that has placed the members in this position, not me.

Do I like this? No, of course not, but just like the pilot’s, who are facing an out of seniority furlough to save money, the F/A’s have this problem too.

Best of Luck to you KT ... I know how you must feel! I haven't been here long but long enough to know.

i think Delta told f/a's who took a voluntary that they could only come back if there was space available. There will be no space available at U for most who want to come back. Now the true question: why would anyone want to go back?
KT don't know you but you will be truly surprised how quickly that heart mends.
welcome back to real and sane life. Plus, this crap is actually fun to read now.
