Flight Attendant Concessions At An Lcc

A friend of mine who flies for ATA told me last night that the ATA flight attendants are being asked to give up the next raise that they are scheduled to receive. They are supposed to vote on it--unless, of course, their MEC decides to take a page from the APFA playbook and decide for them.

Anyone else heard anything about this, or the company's reasons? I wonder if this is just a reaction to the sky-high fuel prices, or if the brutal ticket pricing is beginning to hurt the LCCs also.
