Was on flight 2409 yesterday out of PHL when we diverted to CHO due to "an engine problem." Overheard someone say there was barely any oil pressure once we landed. Kudos to the flight crew for making the decision they did. Everyone was re-booked, but does anyone know exactly what happened?

why weren't they able to put everyone via CLT? Looks like they made ya'll fly back to PHL then back down to TYS.. I also don't see any food vouchers or anything issued... :/
Some went via PHL, the rest to CLT. We weren't there long enough for anything else..probably 20-30 minutes, as two more RJ's flew in and picked the pax up. Nopes, no vouchers--especially to non-rev's
I do commend the two gate agents-both were very, very calm considering two flights were getting ready to leave as we came in unexpectedly. One g/a was re-routing and the other taking tix as the pax got on. CHO is not my fav place to be stuck at; luckily the flights were not that full so we could get on. The airport at least has free wi-fi!
