Fixed Again, Boeing 307 Stratoliner Returns To EAA AirVenture

July 16, 2003 - Following a yearlong re-restoration project, Boeing's 307 Stratoliner, the world's sole remaining example of the first pressurized airliner, is returning to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh. The aircraft, scheduled to arrive Monday, July 28, will be on display at AeroShell Square throughout the convention.

When the engines gasped by fuel starvation, the pilot asked to switch tanks and the engineer answered:

- There are no more tanks. We are out of gas

and down they went
