How fast can US absorb the higher lease/EETC cost? Then there's the minimum fleet counts that exclude the E-190's - that'll probably come up in contract negotiations...

For those that haven't seen it, the latest AboutUS FAQs has a question about 2009 aircraft deliveries and this seemed like as good a place to mention it as any:
What is the current delivery schedule for the A320 series aircraft for 2009?
“The current 2009 plan, which is subject to change, has US Airways taking delivery of two A320s, 18 A321s and five A330-200s that will be based around the system,†reports Tom Doxey, manager, Fleet Analysis. “These deliveries will serve as replacement aircraft for older tails that are leaving the fleet next year. In all, the fleet will see 25 new aircraft and 29 returned. The A330 fleet will be growing over the next couple of years from nine to 24, but because we will be returning aircraft, the overall fleet count will be down slightly.â€

Anyone hear about 507 taking damage in FLL from a jetway on one of its first flights? Also I saw it just the other night needing an air start...what gives?
But beyond that it is a beeeeautiful plane on the inside and out.

508 is currently in the air as 9254 routing is XFW-GLA-BGR-PIT-PHX. Planned arrival into PIT is 1756 - departure at about 1900 which is gonna push the arrival into PHX to 2130.

Well I'm quite excited, I've got two 4 day trips next month with this Beauty! It's a spit 757/321 trip so I'm beyond excited! 🙂
