CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- It'll be the first modern day commercial airliner in a museum anywhere in the world. In June, US Airways Flight 1549 will arrive at the Carolinas Aviation Museum. But already, pieces of the aircraft are in Charlotte.
"It really is a fascinating project and it's being conducted like an archeological dig," said Shawn Dorsch, president of the museum located on the grounds of Charlotte-Douglas International Airport.
