Fire shuts down Highway 49 in El Dorado County (The Sacramento Bee)

El Dorado - Air tankers, helicopters and dozens of fire engines were fighting a series of grass fires Sunday in rural southern El Dorado County that caused evacuations of residents on two roads off Highway 49.
