<_< ------ We had a little visit from FAA today! They came in and asked to see the training records of all our recalled AMT's. Management was obliged to provide them. When asked about when management expected to get these people requalified, they were meet with blank stairs! Asked to see their class room schedules, management couldn't produce them!------- The FAA Inspector pulled up a chair and told them he'd wait! Guess what? A few phone calls, and a couple of hours later, they were all scheduled for recurring training! ------- But now we'll be short handed "AGAIN"!------ Darn the luck!

Whats up at MCI? Looks like there are 24 more recalls pending. Is that due to a wiring mod for wifi? Has there been many considering retirement this year?

<_< ------Yes, and yes! Besides the wifi mod, we'll be doing the cockpit avionics update mod (MAUI) on the 757's. We'll be starting the CIP mods on the 767 200's. We have two lines of winglets going.(757) And at present we're doing Bridging Check (MBV) on Capital Air's 767 200's that have been sitting on the ground here for the last three years. That's a paperwork nightmare! Also we'll be doing the prototype winglet mod on the 767 for Boeing. And then there is the 767 pylon mods that we are also doing. ----------And yes, we're having quit a few retirements as of late! And will continue to do so in the next few years!

Thanks for the info. May MCI prosper.
