Police investigate woman's death

Police say a woman's body was found shortly before 7 a.m. today at a motel in south Charlotte.

The body was discovered at the LaQuinta Motel, in the 4900 block of South Tryon Street. There is no word about the cause of death, or about who discovered the body.

But police say Homicide detectives have been called into the case. At this point, the case is considered a "death investigation," not a homicide.

Ok, just to go further of what I heard, but didn't post earlier. She was smoking and talking on a cellphone and fell out the window. That is just what I have heard this morning.

That is so tragic. :(

Surely people on this board have known or met her at some point. What a sad loss.
It’s quite possible I have, even though her name is not immediately familiar. It’s not uncommon for crewmembers to go a decade or more between working with someone. Even if she wasn’t based in PIT, I used to do a lot of extra trips.

My thoughts are with her family, especially the two kids that are without a Mom.

LYNNE WAS BASED IN PITTSBURGH FOR ABOUT 7-8 YEARS. SHE WAS DISPLACED TO CLT IN ROUND 2 OF THE PIT DISPLACEMENTS.
