Lynne A. Schulte, 40, of Latrobe, died suddenly Thursday, March 27, 2008, in Charlotte, N.C. She was born March 9, 1968, in Jeannette, a daughter of Paul A. Staney, of Greensburg, and Jane Coffer Staney Epstein, of Latrobe. Lynne was a graduate of Hempfield Area High School. She had been employed as a flight attendant for US Air for the past 10 years. She was predeceased by her stepfather, Norman Epstein; and her paternal grandfather, Joseph "Mac" Staney. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a son, Nathan E. Schulte, of North Huntingdon; a daughter, Nicole Jane Schulte, of Latrobe; a brother, Paul Staney and his wife, Tanis, and their daughter, a special niece, Isabella Staney, all of Lyman, S.C.; a sister, Jill Staney, of Jeannette; her maternal grandparents, Edward and Margaret Coffer, of Penn; her paternal grandmother, Margaret Staney, of Penn; and her ex-husband, Mark Schulte, of North Huntingdon. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the BARNHART FUNERAL HOME, 505 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg. Prayers will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Greensburg. Interment will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery, Penn.
