I'm guessing he's already in town for the annual shareholder meeting... isn't it about that time of year??

Most likely yes, it is usually held in mid-May. However when I tried to access info at the Investors Relations portion of the US website, I received this error message:

Who wants to invest if they have a web site this pathetic. It shows what they are about, incompetant.

I find it interesting that DoUgIe is speaking at such an event when IMO it would benefit US to have him speak at more Town Hall meetings and address issues of concern to the employees. Notice he hasn't done that in quite a while, and I'm sure he doesn't want to face smug employees who would like nothing better than to joke about his weekend in Scottsdale.

Of course, Senor Corona didn't have answers for a lot of the questions put forth at those meetings, and his concern for employee issues was lukewarm at best. I remember something about wanting to earn trust...that went out the window pretty quick.

So, Boy Blunder is going to speak in front of his corporate peers instead of doing some homework and talking to the people who lay it on the line everyday to make the shareholders wealthy. Fabulous! He'll get a nice honorarium and maybe a round of applause for his triumph in the face of adversity.

You think the drinking jokes are getting stale and have become passe? Not me. I intend to remind everyone I meet that my CEO tends to make poor decisions, treat subordinates with contempt and ignore issues that affect the success of the airline (MY opinion). He needs to get serious about how he treats labor and not where he can cut costs to the bone to give executives fat bonuses and stock options.

He should try harder to change employee perceptions about himself.

Agree. Leave DP to finish the job of putting the airline together. Enough of the drinking jokes... they're already old.

maybe he should speak at one them twelve step programs?

Did they do a breakfast in regard to his affliction?

Hope he doesn't think he needs an eye opener in the AM...
