American Airlines announced today it will begin new service between its Dallas/Fort Worth hub (DFW) and San Salvador, El Salvador (SAL), beginning April 7. The new route will be available for sale this Sunday, Jan. 20.

American will fly the route four times a week with its 148-seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft, which feature 16 seats in First Class and 132 seats in the Coach cabin.

"We have served San Salvador for more than 17 years now," said Peter Dolara, American's Senior Vice President - Mexico/Caribbean/Latin America. "This new service from Dallas/Fort Worth will nicely complement our existing service to San Salvador from Miami and Los Angeles. It opens up a host of convenient new connections from our largest hub in Dallas/Fort Worth."

Mikey,

There's a proffer for 2 Dutch speakers at JFK. I've heard speculation about Amsterdam but have seen no confirmation. Did I miss something?

Doesn't BRU run with one DU and one FR speaker? Could be just a proffer to add a few speakers to support that...
