Please. There aren't that many cities with agents and without TWU right now.NewHampshire Black Bears said:Now that the TWU CAVED into AA pressure, look for a lot of small stations(like PVD)(that currently are NOT staffed by TWU) to add mainline flights right up to the "line", but not cross it, so they don't have to restaff TWU ramp.
For those of us who are not in the know, what is the "line" in PVD? How many mainline flights can AA operate without changing staff? Why is PVD one of the few cities that has this criteria?NewHampshire Black Bears said:Now that the TWU CAVED into AA pressure, look for a lot of small stations(like PVD)(that currently are NOT staffed by TWU) to add mainline flights right up to the "line", but not cross it, so they don't have to restaff TWU ramp.
Believe it or not, I don't think we "gave away" the "staffing formula".

PVD runway 5-23 is 7166 feet; is that too short for a fully loaded MD-80? If so, is it enough runway for a fully loaded 738?dispatcher said:Another great move by the folks at HDQ...Getting from DFW-PVD will be no problem, but how do they think a SP80 is going to get out of there! There will be passenger restrictions or enroute landings like crazy!
This market needed the 737, not the SP80!
Hmmm. MD80's go LGA DFW all day long off of 7,000'. PVD isn't that much further. Should not be a huge deal.dispatcher said:Another great move by the folks at HDQ...Getting from DFW-PVD will be no problem, but how do they think a SP80 is going to get out of there!
