The Delta Shuttle has been slowly changing from the 738 to 733, with the former Shuttle all coach 738''s being shifted to select Mainline markets out of ATL. Several weeks ago I noticed in my airlines CRS that as of June 1 all LGA-BOS and all LGA-DCA were 733. Now that has changed, showing for all of June and July about an even mix of 733''s and two-class 738''s with seats to sell in First Class. Does anyone know what''s up with this ?

Perhaps DL is trying to match US''s temporary use of F-class equipped A319s on the BOS routes.

The 737-800's are being pulled from the shuttle operation to back fill the void left by the 757's that are being used for the Song operation. Last I heard, the shuttle will eventually become all 737 G's/ 300's.
