Delta posts $363 million third-quarter net profit

Delta Air Lines kicked off US majors' third-quarter earnings reporting period Wednesday by announcing a $363 million net profit, reversed from a $161 million net loss in the year-ago quarter, and predicted it will achieve its first profitable fourth quarter since 2000.
