DCA Hotels

I want to take my family up to see DC. Does anyone have a suggestion on a hotel that is centralized that might give a airline discount?

You may want to call around on the airline discount, or priceline is good too for deals.

As far as where to stay, Crystal City is good, or anywhere where you have easy access to the metro. You can go anywhere in DC on the Metro, safely, inexpensive, and quickly.

The metro stops at National airport too.

Try Crowne Plaza, Doubletree or Hilton. They're good hotels and they all give us discounts and try to get a AAA discount too. I think they are close to Crystal City and the Metro.

Absolutely the Club Quarters. Just stayed a few weeks ago. Great hotel, location and staff. And the price is definately right for employees on weekends.

The biggest dump and commuter hotel is the Americana -- BUT, it is like $50 a night and right on the edge of Crystal City and Pentagon City. If you are coming and plan to be out and about all day and really only rest your head, it is acceptable, I suppose.

I used to get the Courtyard in Crystal City, on Priceline, for the same price as the Americana...I think $60.
