So I'm sitting there eating my brisket earlier today and I look up at the picture hanging on the wall of our booth. It's a picture of a smartly dressed woman in early 70s attire with a baby going through a metal detector with a stately looking gentleman in a "suit and tie" watching on.

The text next to the picture states that so and so (the lady) of Dallas walks with her baby through a newly installed metal detector at the Williamsport-Lycoming Airport to catch a flight on Allegheny (I don't know if that is the correct speling) Airlines.

So I'm thinking that if the man in the picture, or any of his close relatives, ever stop by Dickies in Frisco they should petition for a free dinner.

Does anyone know the Allegheny employee who was identified in the Dallas Morning News as Carl Ott? His likeness is gracing the best BBQ joint (imho) north of I-30.

And oh, the text also mentioned something about a $1.50 security fee per passenger to pay for the metal detector and the fence that would have to be built around the airport.

jm
