Company Store

Does anyone know what is going on with the company store. All of the merchandise is significantly marked down and much of it is not available. Are the shutting it down all together? Or maybe just changing suppliers or updating inventory.

It used to be so nice to have it in PIT, but ohh well, its probably just another thing on its way out in an effort to save every cent, and have our company lose even more of its personality.

Some of us still have pride in our company. In spite of everything...I still do.

Why do I stay? Maybe its is because, I currently along with most employees am treated as a liability instead of an asset. US Airways would eliminate all employees if they could. I stay because I pray, that it will get better.
I do find it an embarrassment to work for U. And it will be a cold day in He__ before I spend my money to advertise for this operation.
I put a lot of pride in my work. That will never change!

I like company merchandise and do have some items. When I see the flag and the name US Airways I dont think of the managers, I think of my friends and some very fond memories. I don't like the people running the country either, but that wouldnt stop me from waving an American flag- they are two different things. I am more US Airways than Dave Siegel is.

I find it far more interesting that someone who is clearly so negative and unhappy would bother to stay at US Airways.
