Question...

If I were trying to send an email to someone at your airline, what would the address look like..??

Example: JoeSmith@southwest or [email protected]

I just need the correct format.

Thanks

Then again... it could be to call a number for the preferred addy.... like 1-800-you-wish, then enter the name when prompted.

So an abused spouse/partner fleeing their oppresser goes on a public forum and ask's how to email someone at work and they get an answer as quickly and innocently as this?????? Or this could be a bill collector, habitual complainer or a stalker? Common sense folks, please.

If I was fleeing anyone or anything, I dang sure wouldn't post on the Internet... Now explain your common sense.... Just the facts maam!

1st msg was started by someone asking how they could contact anyone at Southwest via email.

2nd msg was answered by someone explaining how they could.

3rd msg, which happened to be mine was to question how smart was that they just divulged information. If you read the first message, the original poster was looking for someone, such as joe smith. Their quesiton basically asked was he located at [email protected] or what. The person that replied s-p-e-l-l-e-d it out to not only contact the person they looking for but ANYONE at SWA. My point being was that let's say that two folks get divorced. The exspouse knows their ex works at SWA but they have changed their telephone number, their address and email account. The exspouse is determined to find this person and goes on a public forum and asks a questions, oh like, "how do I contact someone at SWA via email" and someone gives them the golden key. any other facts there QA4Jet-A.

Think about this one final thought. How does anyone know that the original poster came from a spammer and tomorrow morning there will be 10 spam messages in each employee's mail box, taking up more space, slowing down the real email system.

OK people....clam down.

I have a long lost friend that works for Southwest and wanted to get up with him via email.

Good gosh.

Looking up the whois record for Southwest.com and seeing the contacts listed there seems to indicate the format is [email protected]. I don't know if that's right, nor do I care, but security through obscurity is the stupidest security of them all.
